Had my X1 2.D Xdrive 13 months, no rattles or dash noises, the awd is definitely worth the extra for road holding and country roads and towing. I did opt for non run flat tyres after road testing demonstrators at the dealers.I also had to opt for an auto (for health reasons) and find the cruise control and smooth auto is a great combination.
