Main difference is the transmission. Most people prefer the 8 speed. That said, with my test drive of the x28, I just felt like it was slow. Does not build speed as effortlessly like the x35. With the Alpina transmission flash, the slow shifting of the 6 speed on the x35 is mostly remedied and for me is a no-brainer.
