re-grease will only last a while to get rid of the annoying clunk
it's not all the difficult to replace. I re-greased mine when I first picked up my car just to make sure that's what it was. Came back in 7k. I'll replace it someday but it doesn't bother me much.
IIRC GM had a long standing problem similar to this in the 00's. |
