xDrive23d definitely comes as a manual option from September as it's the one I've ordered, about £1400 cheaper than the automatic.
Stats for the manual are:
0-62 7.3 seconds (auto 7.3)
mpg (combined) - 47.1 (auto 44.8)
emissions - 158 g/km (auto 167)
I'm also told that it has the engine Stop/Start function like the other manual models do, but of course, you lose those nice looking flappy paddles!
