23d Accelleration Data

Hi, expecting to receive my 23d automatic (without shifting paddles) around November. Not that accelleration is everything, far from it, but it appears that the 23d fails to get anywhere near the official spec of 0-100 in 7.3 in each and every test (seen figures of 7.7 and 8.1). Often, the comment is that it doesn´t seem like there´s 204hp under the hood, that the car seems slower than expected, that the automatic is configured "too low" (noise levels, but suppose it affects accelleration as well. I´ve read that even in the sports-mode, the shift is done at 3.500rpm which might be too early (still nm left??)

- What´s the experience on accelleration and the automatic gearbox by the owners? / people who´ve tested this version?

- Any additional data on 0-100 and 80-120 accellerations??

- Does anyone have a clue if this August stop is really due to 2011 changes, and if so does anyone know if any particular changes on the 23d model (read somewhere that it will be available with manual shift as well).

Appreciate your comments, thanks!
