Just bought an X1 over the weekend from a Volvo Dealer that was trying to get rid of it. It's such an immaculate car inside and out, what a shame on me for not looking at this open recall before purchasing it... not sure why I didn't think that was necessary.
I am going to continue to drive it as I cannot be without a car but it's a little scary to think that a potentially non-lethal accident could be made lethal by the very thing that is supposed to provide protection
Anyway, I'll be ready to perform the recall repairs when they are.
