Some other issues to think about
: There a bunch of K+DCAN cables that are cheap but can be problematic. The
bonafide cable costs $99. You have to get the software yourself and if you search, you can find download links. There is a significant learning curve with the software and the setup. If the dealer ever updates your car's software, you could lose your coding. You will either need to redo the coding or pay for someone to do it again.
