I think you will find that the X3 looks great - you may take time to get used to the front but I am really looking forward to it. You cannot fault the new interior design and the new features over the x1 like electronic hand braking, and 8 speed auto amongs others. I have not read one review that has not concluded that it is not a winner!!! ( even though they are based on that persons view).
