In the US the Golf R is ~39-40k USD
The M140 would list for 40-41k USD
Personally I would much prefer the rear wheel bias of the BWM X-Drive over the Haldex AWD VW R.....if only they would offer the Bimmer with a 6MT in combination with XDrive.....
