The simple solutions are always the best.
I run an E91 touring/wagon with the panoramic roof, and the rear windows being cracked open is the answer for driving at speed. I've had other cars where this has been the solution to air pressure buffeting the interior wth the roof open, so don't see any issue. BTW, I've been using this solution for over 30 years.
