The longitudinal/fwd biased drivetrain is completely apparent in the exterior design. The front axle is unfortunately pushed way rear ward closer to the cabin, losing that stretched rwd platform look and more like an Audi, squished wheelbase on a tall body. There is no way the driving dynamics will match the current sDrive. I love the current exterior of the X1 with its stretched wheelbase and long hood.
