The 335i and X1 have a different wastegate arm so I cannot pull it off my 335i and move it to the X1. Pure said they would modify it to work on the X1 if I sent it in for a rebuild ($450) I have put 19,000 miles on the turbo so far so I would be opposed to the idea. As for the Speedtech kit fitting, our engine is the same as the late E series 335i. It should bolt and plumb to the engine just fine. The only issue I foresee is the location of the strut tower since it is different on the X1 than the 135 or 335.
