Let me throw in a couple more positive comments here; I've had some petty grousings and things I've questioned, but we are pleased with the car.
Drove over Beffert Mountain in a deluge; it handled the rain (plus passing on short straights) extraordinarily well. And it's coped with our snow and slop that we've had since then; the lights, wipers and headlight washers have all worked nicely, and the traction on the all seasons seems quite good. It's my intent to get some Blizzaks for next season, but we've spent enough for now.
If the gas mileage gets a bit better, I'll be a truly happy camper.
