My drive in to work is all expressway but my speed never exceeds 65-68mph. Most of the trip is in city areas with a 50-55 mph limit. I would never be able to average 70-80mph for that would get me a bunch of 25mph over tickets. I have noticed that most people posting about mpg show high speed averages and that eats gas. Maybe there is hope and I could get closer to 30mpg. I will have to do some research.
