I have a X1 28i and have just started averaging 27-28mpg doing 50/50 highway/city with going 80mph on the highway. When I had less than 6,500 miles on the car I was averaging 25 mpg. So mpg goes up a bit after 6,500 miles or so, hopefully a little more as I put more mile on it.
