Thanks Red Bread. Having a 135 I do like the smallness aspect of the X1. I didn't think of driving the sedan to compare. That idea is very helpful. It would be easy to use the cost difference between the two to buy plenty of gas for the X1.

We intended to wait for the F31 but didn't like the drive of the F30 or the lack if the N55 in the F31 so we went from our 135i to the X1 35i and have been very happy with the change.
