I know its different here in the UK but discounts on the X1 are still very small. I looked at both the 1 and 3 series before going for the X1. On the first two models discounts of up to 15% are easily obtained. After much haggling walking out etc
I got 3% off on the X1. The discount mentioned above in Oz sounds about right.
