As fuel distributor somewhat knowledgeable oil man, I'm not feeling the long oil change as cause.

I have one of those in a 2014 X1 s28i, and I'll chaNGE OIL by 10k miles with Mobil 1 0w40.

If it makes noise I'll fix it before it shreds engine.
