Like any insurance, it's a gamble. Think about what the insurance covers, then think how many times you had a similar loss of what is insured in the past.

When was the last time you bent a rim? How about had a catastrophic tire failure?

One thing to keep in mind is that they don't like to repair runflats because they can't tell if the sidewall support has been damaged or not.

Given that, I usually don't take the insurance.
