I went to Michelin PS4S in a lower profile of 255/35r18 and 225/40r18. They are very good, but not more traction that the Pirelli P7 Summers. I also think very low profile don't flex right for good traction. Even F1 tires have some sidewall to them.

Also, they are rated good in wet, but that doesn't mean hard rain.

Next time I Plan to get the Michelin AS 4 in the staggered sizes 2014 X1 s28i came with....255/40r18 and 225/45r18.
