BMW dropped the ball on this one, If they would have released here in the US, that number should be 500,000 units. But BMW wants people to shell out $50k large for the X3. Not in this economy!! The "people" majority buying SUV's in the $25K-$35 range. All manufactures have stepped up the small SUV game. Just look around........The X1 is late to the game, in this country.
500,000? Factory constraints prevented US debut. How can they sell more than they can make? By the way, X3 is on fire and you can have a 28i for less than 40k.
