yup. and if you are going to do that, stuff a usb power supply in there and hardwire a dashcam. i just won a speeding ticket court case by using my dashcam video. officer said i was going 50 in a 35 and in rain. i was able to show i was going 42mph based on time stamps at two intersections, and that there was not a drop of rain.
. had to endure 3 court proceedings though...they definitely don't make it easy.
