I am not sure how taxes affect pricing in Canada. It is not just the sale tax, there are corporate taxes, road use taxes, etc. So it is quite possible that some of that 20% fee doesn't end up in BMW's pocket.
Anyway I am willing to pay 20% more for my cars and have free health care.
