Like many said it depends on your use. If it's a weekend fair weather cruiser and you don't typically tailgate other folks, it might not make much sense.

I've done full front on mine and specifically looked for a shop that customized the cut and wrapped all the edges where possible. I previously had a standard XPEL cut on wife's SUV and this new/improved install is 10x better imho. Now, I do not anticipate G80 being a collector car in 20 years like some 911's, but if you end up having a really low mileage one in 15 years, having original paint might be a very beneficial factor to its value.
