Had 2, 3 button keyfobs with removable battery compartments doors, type C3 3 button with removable back cover for battery access,
bought 1 new case to hopefully refresh old worn case of of Amazon. hopefully exchange pc chip from original to new case, battery died and remote access only worked on 1 fob.
reinstalled 2032 duracell 3 volt coin battery in second one, would start car but no comfort accces
1 OEM perfect remote working only,
2nd with fob in ignition slot only, but would start car. no remote functions? hmm?
lightly hacksawed around old beat up case got it to separate with flat blade screwdriver after scoring both sides lightly no damage to pc board,
ok ordered new case 9.00 bucks swapped pc board worked only in ignition slot to start,no sync?
read all u tube stuff ,
no key emblem on right side of steering column for this model.
no syc ? tryed all u tube stuff no luck
Figured it out:
1. Insert metal, mechanical key into door lock to manually lock/unlock. I believe I heard it beep ,
2. Insert CA key fob into slot and start car using Start/Stop button.
3. Turn off car using button, remove key fob.
4. Lock door with key fob.
5. All works again.
worked correctly now new recased and fresh battery remote synced everything works YEA!!!
