The plugs are 100% the same, except there is 1 pin that needs 12v on the OEM xeons.
What others have done is to just bridge that pin at the light end to the 12v pin next to it.
Then all you need is a bit of coding.
There is a lot of info on doing this in other BMW forums.
I can provide you with the pin detail.
