I never felt any issues with my X1's steering until I did the wheel alignment. Even the wheel alignment guys did the test drive on my 4th visit
accusing me of being too picky. After driving couple kilometers on normal roads (not hwy) he said it's fine. I get a mixed feeling as well. So, trying not to think about it too much while driving coz it's bit distracting as well. But once it gives you that sort of feeling trying not to think about it is not gonna help much. Anyways, just living with it atm
