My Z-3 was in the shop constantly. They had my own personal 3 series convertible loaner for me. I unloaded at 33,000 miles because I would have had to start paying for all the repairs myself. Fun car to drive but by far the worst car I have owned for reliability. Two issues when it was delivered. Roof leaked. When I say it leaked the water poured in like there wasn't a roof. Sub-woofer was defective. So many other issues. Shifter came apart. Had to have the roof motor replaced twice.
Hopefully the German built models are better.
