I went to dealer for a fix and was told it could be 79.5mph before considered a problem. Audi says 2%. Ironically the odometer was extremely accurate, .1mile off after 20 miles.
Running factory tires.14,000 miles.
One work around is to enable the digital speed option via coding. I just had this done and can now see the an accurate speed on the dash. The analog speedo is still wrong by about 4mph at 75...but it's better than nothing. The digital speed is the actual speed used by the car to detemine odometer miles.
