All of my songs are in albums but I can play all songs randomly without an issue. I just select artist, all, and then random (I think). I drove 500 miles yesterday and never heard the same song twice.
I also got 28.5 mpg. About 15 miles city, the rest interstate. On Eco pro. Still less than a 1000 miles on the car.
