Maybe the more uneducated. Aftermarket tuning companies who's wet dream it is to tune a 4cyl turbo wouldn't deliberately short-change themselves by saying BMW's stock airbox is an optimized unit. I give BMS props for saying so. Eventually you'll grasp that the N20 is a highly tuneable unit, and not just a tuned version of itself. Btw... you do know the pistons aren't the same in the x20i as the x28i right? Thus making it
NOT the same engine.
