Just a little non-racer story. I had an opportunity to take a hot lap with Vic Elford in a brand new 997, and I tell you it was wild all the way up to 160 MPH. He shifted effortlessly and we made it through the turns (I am not a track guy, short series of cones, left, right, left, right, etc) never once letting off the gas. The braking and turning were something else. I never had such a smile on my face like I did that day. Although this car was over my budget and driving skills it still was a wicked car if I was in that cash bracket. Just my input!
